Ellen Eliza Mantyla, age 84, died March 7, 1991.
Born August 31, 1906, Rock Springs, Wyoming to Charles and Sophie Hill Anderson. Married Walfred E. Mantyla, August 23, 1923; he died November 28, 1971. She enjoyed gardening. She was a warm and loving mother and grandmother.Survived by children, Robert G. Mantyla, wife Sharon, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Ronald (Lillian) Andrew, Lexington, Kentucky; Mrs. Donald (Vivian) O'Brien, Grand Junction, Colorado; Charles R. Mantyla, wife Karen, Yorba Linda, California; Mrs. Dennis (Eileen) Rich, Murray; 16 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by son, Wally.
Funeral services will be held Monday, 2 p.m., at the Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 South State, where friends may call Monday one hour prior to service. Interment: Valley View Memorial Park.
