Eva Davis Schmidt, age 85, passed away March 7, 1991, in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Born June 14, 1905, in Dayton, Idaho, to John P. and Alice Lloyd Davis, the last survivor of 17 children. Married Harold A. Schmidt on October 2, 1934, in Salt Lake City. He preceded her in death on September 19, 1984. Eva worked as a catering hostess at the Newhouse Hotel for over 25 years. She has lived at Highland Cove Retirement Center for the past six years. Eva will be dearly missed by her family and friends.Survived by a daughter, Gwen S. Lambrose; six grandchildren; Mrs. Ralph (Jennifer) Weight; Mrs. Les (Susan) Christiansen; David Record (wife, Carol); Harold Paul Record; Gary Record (wife, Gretha) and Mrs. Mike (Carol) Lambrose; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services Monday, March 11th, 12 noon, in the Larkin Chapel, 260 East South Temple, where friends may call Sunday 6- 8 p.m., and Monday, one hour prior to the services. Interment, Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
