Laurels in the Rockford 1st Ward, Rockford Illinois Stake, sewed Valentine outfits for the premature babies being cared for at a local hospital.

The outfits included nightgowns with red hearts, red knit socks, hats and mittens. These were presented to the hospital on Valentine's Day."The Laurels will continue making socks, hats and mittens for premature babies at other local hospitals for their service project for 1991," said Marie Schneeman, stake public communications director.

"The Laurels enjoyed working on this project, and a true meaning of service was felt, as well as a bonding of friendships among the Laurels and people in the community."
