Howard Brinton Cahoon, 75, died of heart problems, April 2, 1991, in Sun City, Arizona.

Born July 25, 1915 in Murray, Utah to Chester and Melvina Brinton Cahoon. Married Dorothy Wilkins in 1947, they had four children, Roxanne, Sylvia Sue, Andra Dawn, Howard Brinton, Jr.; later divorced. Married Alice Edson in 1957, later divorced. Married Phyllis Miller Wilhelmsen in Salt Lake City. Howard was a veteran of World War II, serving as Chief Petty officer in the Navy. Howard was a loving and generous husband, father and grandfather. He had a wonderful sense of humor and enjoyed life and lived it to the fullest! He was unselfish and shared with many. He was a well established and respected businessman in Salt Lake and was a pioneer in the theater business in Nevada. He was loved dearly and will be greatly missed.Survived by his wife; four children, Roxanne Havers, Las Vegas, Nev.; Sylvia Sue Simon, South Bend, Ind.; Andra Dawn Coccimiglio, Howard Brinton Cahoon, Jr., both Salt Lake City; four stepchildren, Russell Wilhelmsen, Krista Warberg, both Salt Lake City; Sharon Meindertsma, Hawaii; Fred Wilhelmsen, Salt Lake City; 19 grandchildren, brother, Richard C. Cahoon.

Graveside services Friday, April 5, 11 a.m., Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park, 3401 So. Highland dr. Friends may call Thursday, 6-8 p.m. at MacKay Cottonwood Mortuary, 4670 Highland Drive. Donations may be made to the Leukemia Foundation of Salt Lake City.
