DEATH: DEBI LIM

Our beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister and special friend, Debra McFarland Lim, returned to her Father in Heaven May 16, 1991 at the age of 37.

She was born January 30, 1954 in Casper, Wyoming to Ralph Howard and Gay Sullivan McFarland. She married Sami Tadehara in 1973; later divorced. Married John Galen Lim October 24, 1981; marriage later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Together, they raised five beautiful children. Debi loved to create beautiful things. she loved crafts, singing and building friendships. Her family and children were always her first concern. She taught her children to love life. She opened her heart to those who were less fortunate and her beautiful smile radiated her love to all she befriended. She was an active member of the LDS Church, served in Primary, Young Women, and Relief Society. She loved her Savior.Survived by husband, John; five children, Trasi, Raif, Jesse, Cody and Bridger; mother, Gay Egley and stepfather, Joe Egley, both of Casper, Wyoming; brother, Kirk McFarland, Provo; sister, Mrs. Tony (Traci) Feldsted, Mapleton; two nieces, Syndi and Hillari Fieldsted; many loving uncles, aunts and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, Ralph.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, 2 p.m. at the Western Hills 4th Ward, 5107 South 5600 West. Friends may call Friday, 6-8 p.m. at McDougal Golden Rule Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, and Saturday, at the church, one hour prior to services. Graveside services will be held Monday, 1 p.m. at the Hurricane City Cemetery, Hurricane.
