Michael Layne Belnap, D.V.M., 30, died April 29, 1991 in Lexington, Kentucky, the result of an auto accident.

Born March 11, 1961 in Provo, Utah to Dean Hatch and Jean Marie Barclay Belnap. He was a graduate of American Fork High School, received his B.S. Degree from Utah State University and his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Tennessee. He had worked as a veterinarian in Athens, Tennessee, and presently in Stanford, Kentucky. Member of the LDS Church.He is survived by his mother and step-father, Robert and Jean Wallin; a brother, Val Dean Belnap, all of American Fork; a sister, Mrs. Scott (Laura Ann) Ellsworth, Rexburg, Idaho; three step-sisters, Mrs. Rafer (Maria) Burnham, Provo; Tricia Jean Wallin, Jenni Jean Wallin, both of American Fork; grandparents, LeRoi G. and Olive Barclay, Harold and Evelyn Belnap, all of Moreland, Idaho; two nieces, four nephews; many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Preceded in death by his father.

Funeral Services will be Saturday, 11 a.m. in the American Fork First Ward, 381 South 300 East. Friends may call at the Anderson & Sons Mortuary, 49 East 100 North, American Fork, Friday 6-8 p.m. and Saturday at the Church one hour prior to services. Burial in the American Fork Cemetery.
