The Utah Transit Authority has started its trolley service in downtown Salt Lake City for the summer tourist season.

The trolleys follow a loop route through the downtown shopping area, local hotels and to Trolley Square, UTA said. The service runs from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.Trolley fare is 65 cents per ride. Unlimited day passes are available for $1.25 and can be purchased on the trolley, at local hotels or at the Salt Lake Convention and Visitors Bureau.
