Lillian Margaret Poulson Candland, 84, died May 28, 1991.

Born March 7, 1907 in Cottonwood, Utah, a daughter of Vigo Emmanuel and Carrie Smith Poulson. Married Leland David Candland, October 31, 1923 in the Manti LDS Temple. He died November 16, 1990.She lived most of her life in Salt Lake City, except for seven years in Chester, Utah. Active member LDS Church, especially in the Sunday School and Primary organizations. She and her husband had served as stake missionaries. She loved music and singing and was a well known quilter.

She is survived by a son, David A. and his wife, Mary Ann Candland, West Valley City; five daughters and their husbands, Caroldean and Blaine H. Hall, Thousand Oaks, California; Virginia and Cal Warren, Bennion; Winnie and Jim Thompson, American Fork; Margaret and Jerry Little, Holladay; Barbaralee and Ed Martindale, Holladay; 45 grandchildren; 118 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services Friday, May 31, 1991, 11 a.m., Valley View LDS 3rd Ward, 4101 South 1925 East. Friends may all at the MacKay Cottonwood Mortuary, 4670 Highland Drive, Thursday 6-8 p.m. and at the church Friday one hour prior to service. Burial Murray City Cemetery.
