Holy Cross Jordan Valley Hospital has received a $5,000 donation from Kennecott Corp.
The gift is from the Kennecott Utah Copper Charity Fund, financed by admission fees collected from visitors to the Bingham Mine.Mark Neff, hospital administrator, said the donation will be used to purchase new equipment.
"For years, the hospital has provided essential services to our community, and to many of the Kennecott employees who work and live in the area," said Greg Boyce, Kennecott director of government and public affairs.
