Kenneth Edward Meredith, 80, died May 31, 1991 in Pleasant Grove, following a long illness.
Born February 2, 1911 in Pleasant Grove, to Edward S. and Bertha Torn Meredith. He married Myrtle Jones May 8, 1933 in Provo; marriage was later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple. She died in 1981. He later married Leah Woodward Warnick. He was a member of the LDS Church. He was a farmer most of his life and retired from Geneva Steel.Survived by his wife, American Fork; a son, Gary E. Meredith, Salt Lake City; three granddaughters and a grandson, Lisa Cannon and Joanna Turner, both Salt Lake City; Susan Hinckley, Minneapolis, Minn.; Steven Meredith, Phoenix, Ariz.; nine great-grandchildren; two sisters, Blanche Ahlstrom, Whittier, Calif.; Edna Curtis, Salt Lake City; five stepsons. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Marva, and a brother, Virgil.
Services will be Wednesday, 11 a.m., Olpin Family Mortuary, 500 South 300 East, Pleasant Grove, where friends may call Tuesday, 6-8 p.m. or Wednesday, one hour prior to services. Burial, Pleasant Grove City Cemetery.
