PARK CITY BENEFIT WILL FEATURE SAVORY SAMPLES, CONTESTS

"Savor the Summit," the annual Park City benefit featuring a wide variety of cuisines from more than 20 local restaurants is planned for Saturday, June 15 from noon to 8 p.m.

Festivities include sampling food specialities like Texas ribs, Cajun chicken, shark kebabs, coconut batter shrimp or calzones. Entertainment will be provided by Cowboy and Ladies Band, Richard Wyman, Chord on Blues and The Moonriders.Contests and games complete the day's agenda. One contest is The Waiters' Challenge at 2:45 p.m., when teams of waiters will run through an obstacle course carrying trays of food and drink. The team that survives the course without spilling its tray will win $100.

The festival will be held at the Resort Center Plaza at the base of the Park City Ski Area. Proceeds will benefit the Youth Sports Advisory Board.
