A 4th Circuit Court judge Monday bound a former Timpanogos Mental Health accounting technician over to 4th District Court to be arraigned on two counts of tax evasion, third-degree felonies.
Deanna Westwood, 51, Provo, is accused of filing false state tax returns for two years. An investigation by the state attorney general's office charges that Westwood failed to report income of $62,050 on her 1986 return and $106,610 on her 1987 return.Westwood is one of seven former Timp employees who lost their jobs in May 1988 following a state audit that revealed more than $3.5 million in public money had been misused.
