DEATH: KEITH CLAYSON

Keith Edward Clayson, 71, died Monday, June 10, 1991, at his home in Richmond.

Born November 19, 1919, Cornish, Utah, the son of Edward and Lula Romney Clayson. Married Guelda Choules, June 30, 1944, Westerly, Rhode Island; later solemnized Logan LDS Temple. Graduated USU with master's degree in education. Was a teacher and principal in both Preston and Cache Valley School Districts. Served LDS Mission to Mexico. Was in U.S. Navy during World War II. Active in LDS Church. Held many church positions including bishop, High Councilman, and stake clerk.Surviving: his wife, Richmond; grandsons whom he raised, Christopher Gailey, Richmond; Michael and his wife, Patty Gailey, Ogden; five daughters, son and spouses, Judie and Bill Ridge, Ogden; Beverly and Steve Morris, Weston, Idaho; Debra and Jim Hull, Cub River, Idaho; Jill and Doug O'Keefe, Newport Beach, California; Ed and Tami Clayson, Dexter, Michigan; Patty and Kevin Forsgren, Richmond; 17 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; mother; two brothers and two sisters, Rex Clayson, Pocatello, Idaho; Reid Clayson, Aurora, Colorado; Melba Checketts, Bear River City; Maxine Nyland, Brigham City. Preceded in death by a daughter and son-in-law, Janet and Wendell Gailey, one brother and three grandsons.

Funeral services will be Friday, 1 p.m., Richmond, Utah Stake Center, 12 South 100 West. Friends may call Webb Funeral Home in Preston, Idaho, Thursday evening 6-8 p.m. and at the stake center Friday 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Burial: Fairview, Idaho Cemetery.
