`RECESSION' COLOGNE: SWEET SMELL OF DOWNTURN?

"The economy stinks. You shouldn't have to" is the motto of a men's cologne called Recession.

The cologne hit the shelves of Bloomingdale's in New York City last week. Its Long Island inventors describe it as a "manly fragrance, with woodsy notes and a pleasant touch of citrus."It comes with a brief explanation of the state of the economy, a spoof of a newspaper article on the recession and a slip that reads:

"The cologne for the man who used to have everything."
