6-HOUR COMPUTER SEMINARS SET AT COLLEGES THROUGH JULY

Utah business owners and managers who want to learn how to use personal computers to improve their management skills will have the opportunity to attend special hands-on seminars during the summer.

They will be Saturday, June 15, at Dixie College in St. George; July 10-11 at Snow College in Ephraim; July 26-27 at Southern Utah University in Cedar City; and at the College of Eastern Utah in Price on a date that will be announced later.Karen M. Gollaher of the Utah Small Business Development Center said the six-hour course will explore four main areas of business challenges and suggest a solution for each challenge. Participants will learn how to track accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll, how to generate management reports, how to work with financial statements and how to enter cash flow and financial ratios.
