The Marion Carter Storytelling Festival sponsored by the Salt Lake City Library System will be part of the Utah Arts Festival this year. Festivalgoers will be able to attend the storytelling fest free with a paid admission to the Utah Arts Festival.
The storytelling schedule is:- Wednesday, June 26, 7 p.m., Helen Taylor will spin stories of whimsy.
- Thursday, June 27, 3:30 p.m. and 7 p.m., Dave Bullock will relate "The Legendheir."
- Friday, June 28, 7 p.m., Jay Brummett will tell stories of Native Americans.
- Saturday, June 29, 2 p.m., June Miller will relate Renaissance tales; 3:30 p.m., Helen Taylor will again present tales of whimsy; 4 p.m., Mae Parry will relate tales of the Shoshone people.
- Sunday, June 30, 2 p.m., Joan Nabors and Mary Ann Glasgow will relate Black folk tales.
