HILL HELPS A.F. GAIN AWARD

The Air Force Logistics Command has been named the national winner of the 1991 President's Award for Quality, and the Ogden Air Logistics Center at Hill Air Force Base was a big contributor to that success, say Hill officials.

Every year, the Federal Quality Institute chooses government agencies that shows great progress in quality, and President Bush presents awards to them during a ceremony in Washington, D.C.The Air Force Logistics command is the third largest of the Air Force's 13 main commands. If it were a private enterprise, its $158.3 billion in capital assets would rank it near the top of the Fortune 500 companies.
