Kenneth Davenport Tuttle, 73, loving husband, father, grandfather and family patriarch, died June 13, 1991 in Mt. Pleasant, Utah.
Born June 31, 1917 in Manti to William Ambrose and Alice Davenport Tuttle. Married Lois Penrod, June 11, 1946 in the Manti LDS Temple. She died July 29, 1985. Married Norma Butterfield, October 14, 1989 at the Indian Camp on the Rawhide West of Manti. He is a veteran of World War II, U.S. Army Air Corp. Retired wildlife resource officer. Worked for Manti City. Past president of the 2nd LDS Ward Elder's Quorum for 13 years. Was a member of the Provo Elks Lodge 849. Past president of the Manti Lion's Club. Past commander of the American Legion Post 39. He enjoyed the out-of-doors and was at his happiest when spending time with his family, working and playing, on his mountain.Survived by wife, Norma, three sons, Eldon K. and wife, Cheryl; William P. (Bill), both Manti; Robert P. and wife, Charel, Enoch, Utah; nine grandchildren; two brothers, six sisters, Sam, New York; Clair, Mt. Pleasant; Ireta Stevens, Salt Lake City; Sara Hougaard, Manti; Gladys Andersen, Gunnison; Evelyn Jorgenson, Heber City; Elaine Stansfield, Murray; Wilma Hougaard, Twin Falls, Idaho.
Funeral services Tuesday, 1 p.m., Manti 1st-2nd LDS Ward. Friends call Buchanan Mortuary Monday 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday at the Ward Chapel one and one-half hours prior to services. Interment: Manti City Cemetery.
