Wilhelmina "Stecky" Steckelman Holdaway, age 81, died June 14, 1991 in a Price nursing home.

Born June 5, 1910 in Castle Gate, Utah, daughter of William and Anna Hampson Steckelman. Married Charles W. Holdaway December 5, 1935 in Hiawatha, Utah; he died June 3, 1967. Member Price Community Methodist Church. Lifelong resident of Carbon County. She graduated from Wasatch Academy in Mt. Pleasant, later St. Marks School of Nursing. A Registered Nurse, she worked in Price and East Carbon hospitals for many years. Member District 4 Nurse Association. Past Worthy Matron Order of the Eastern Star, Naomi Chapter 13; she was secretary emertius, past Guardian Bethel #3 Jobs Daughters. To her professional coworkers, family and friends, she was affectionately known as Stecky.Survived by two sons, one daughter and spouses, Charles W., Jr. and Barbara Holdaway, Huntington Beach, Calif.; Karl S. and Janice Holdaway, Spring, Texas; Anne Marie and Larry Marinoni, Price; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Also survived by his sister, Julia Richey, Greenfield, Indiana.

Funeral services Tuesday, 1:00 p.m., Mitchell Chapel, where friends may call Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. The family will be at Mitchells, Monday eveining, 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday, one hour prior to services. Interment, Price City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Price Community United Methodist Church, 10 North 200 East, Price, Ut. 84501, or Shriners Childrens Hospital, Fairfax and Virginia Street, SLC, Ut. 84103
