George Datwyler

George Albert Datwyler, 79, passed away June 15, 1991 at his home in Salt Lake City.

He was born November 4, 1911 in Logan, Utah to Fredrick and Julia Seeholzer Datwyler. He married Lizzie Melba Roskelley, December 20, 1930 in Preston, Idaho, and solemnized their marriage in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She preceded him in death, October 7, 1990. He was a member of the F.O.E. Served in the Boy Scouting program for many years. Worked for Utah-Idaho Central Railroad, part owner and operator of a service station in Preston, Idaho, and was a plastering and general building contractor in Salt Lake City.He is survived by his children, G. LeRoy and wife, Janet; Darry and wife, JoAnn, all of Salt Lake City; Sharon and husband, Norman Noorda, Las Vegas, Nevada; 14 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; brother, Charles L. Datwyler; sister, Julia Ames.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, June 19, 1991, 12 p.m. at Mountain View Memorial Estates, 3115 East 7800 South (Bengal Blvd.) where friends may call Tuesday, 6-8 p.m. and Wednesday one hour prior to services.
