Vida May Brown Hooper, age 86, of Annabella, died June 17, 1991, in a Richfield hospital.

Born July 9, 1904, Annabella, Utah, to Richard and Adelia Hanchett Brown. Married William R. Hooper, May 25, 1922, in the Manti LDS Temple. He died October 30, 1970. Member, LDS Church, serving in the stake Relief Society presidency, and as Young Women's president. Ward Relief Society president and worker, and active in all the ward organizations. Served as an officer in the DUP. Member of the Old Folks Committee, and served as a 4H leader.Survived by: Three sons, two daughters and spouses, Keith R. and Mary Hooper, E. Adelia and Devon Poulson, all Richfield; Evelyn and Harold Carter, Provo; Richard J. and Beverly Hooper, Calif.; William Fred and Ada Marie Hooper, Henderson, Nevada; two brothers and a sister, Cyril D. Brown, Ogden; Leola B. Anderson, and Virge Brown, both Annabella; 26 grandchildren; 62 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband, and a son, Samuel B. Hooper, four brothers and a sister, Arnold, Ivy, Chloe, Grace and Ione.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 20, 1 p.m., in the Annabella LDS Ward Chapel. Friends may call at the Neal S. Magleby & Sons Mortuary in Richfield, Wednesday, from 7 to 9 p.m., and at the ward chapel in Annabella Thursday morning, 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Burial in the Annabella Cemetery.
