Waldo Sorensen, 78, died June 16, 1991 in a Provo Hospital.

He was born September 18, 1912 at Mammoth, a son of Olaf and Elizabeth Mordue Sorensen. He married Myrtle Francis Miller in 1942, Evanston, Wyoming. She died February 3, 1987. He married Twila Johnson Higgins, November 24, 1990 at Payson. He was educated in Goshen and Payson schools. He had been a farmer and a rancher in the Goshen area all of his life. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.He is survived by his wife of Payson. A son, Jake A. Sorensen, Orem; three grandchildren; two brothers and two sisters, Curtis Sorensen and Hazel Cook, both of Goshen; Frank Sorensen, Santaquin; and Mildred Kirby, Portland, Oregon; five brothers and sisters preceded him in death.

Services will be Wednesday, 11:00 a.m. in the Goshen LDS Ward Chapel, 70 South Center Street. Friends may call at the Walker Mortuary, 587 South 100 West, Payson, Tuesday 6-8:00 p.m. or at the church Wednesday, one hour prior to the services. Burial will be in the Goshen City Cemetery.
