Japanese artists say, "Hello, Salt Lake City," during a calligraphy demonstration at the end of America Japan Week. Later the sign read, "sayonara, bye-bye." Japanese artists, musicians, athletes and citizens gathered one last time Saturday at the Salt Palace to bid farewell to their new Utah friends. This week's festivities included cultural arts demonstrations and performances by over 1,800 Japanese participants.
