CAPTION ONLY: A STAB AT ENTERTAINMENT

Lord Seoinin Irontree wields sword and shield in a mock battle with David Fitzgerald while dignitaries get a sneak preview of scenes from "Camelot." The scene was part of the festivities Saturday night celebrating the renovation of the old South High School as the new South City Campus of Salt Lake Community College. About 900 business and community leaders attended a reception at the old high school. College officials took guests on tours of the new South, which has been braced for earthquake safety, redesigned and spruced up. SLCC spent $13 million on remodeling the school, which will eventually serve 5,000 students. Following the tours, guests watched a special performance of "Camelot," starring Robert Peterson, in the school's remodeled theater. The grand opening was sponsored by SLCC, the Salt Lake Chamber of Commerce and the SLCC Foundation Board.
