Aaron Earl Parsons, 83, died May 31, 1991 at his home in Monroe.

Born February 14, 1908 in Koosharem, Utah to Arthur and Abertha Brown Parsons. Married Marva Arvena Nielson, March 6, 1929 in the Manti LDS Temple. She died July 12, 1989. He was dedicated to civic and community affairs, he served 6 years as Monroe City Councilman, member and past president of Monroe Lion's Club. He worked for Muir and Roberts Produce as a buyer for 20 years. During his lifetime he was an avid farmer and rancher. He worked for the Forest Service as a fire guard and in trail construction. He was a member of the LDS Church, where he worked in the scouting program.Survived by two daughters, one son, Mrs. Leland (Rhea) Duffin, Mrs. David (Karen) Dastrup, and R. Kent Parsons, all Monroe; five grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, a sister, Mrs. Cleone Holt, Salt Lake.

Funeral services will be Monday, June 3, 1 p.m. in the Monroe 3rd LDS Ward Chapel, 140 South Main, Monroe. Friends may call at Neal S. Magleby & Sons Mortuary, Richfield, Sunday evening from 7-9 p.m. and at the chapel in Monroe on Monday from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Burial, Monroe City Cemetery.
