DEATH: CHARLES "CHUCK" BITTLE

Our beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother, Charles Gordon "Chuck" Bittle, died May 31, 1991 in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Born January 21, 1921 in Mt. Pleasant, Utah, to George W. and Vilda Honey Bittle. Married Jean Morley, September 9, 1940 in Nephi, Utah. They recently celebrated their 50th Anniversary. Member of the LDS Church and Independent Order of Odd Fellows. Veteran of WW II. He drove for Trailways Bus, worked for the Eimco Corporation for 23 years and was an active member of IAM-AW. He enjoyed working on automobiles and camping.Survived by his wife, Jean; two daughters: Barbara Jackman and Charlene Soliz; two sons, Bud G. and Richard P. Bittle, all of Salt Lake; 11 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two sisters: Kay Stockseth, Orem, Utah; and Vilda Sahlberg, Sunnyvale, Calif.; step-brother, Earl Murphy, Salt Lake.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 4th, 10 am, in the Larkin Mortuary Chapel, 260 East South Temple, where friends may call Monday evening, 6-8 pm, and on Tuesday, the hour prior to services. Interment, Salt Lake City Cemetery.
