BURRELL TO RACE AGAINST LEWIS, JOHNSON

Leroy Burrell, the world record holder in the 100 meters, has been added to the field in the first showdown between Carl Lewis and Ben Johnson since the 1988 Olympics, BNP track meet officials announced today.

Burrell was originally in the 200 against Michael Johnson, the top-ranked runner in both the 200 and 400 last year. However Raymond Lorre, the director of the July 1 meet, said Burrell would compete in the 100 instead.
