Our beloved mother, grandmother, and sister, Betty Virginia Dyet McLendon, age 70, passed away June 17, 1991 in Upland, California.Born March 27, 1921 in Salt Lake City, daughter of Clifford Lyle and Alice Pearl Wonnacot Dyet. Married E.E. McLendon; later divorced. Member LDS Church. Owned and operated various restaurants in Carbon County and Salt Lake. Moved to California in 1985. She shared her love with her family, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Survived by a daughter, Nancy and Roger Atwood, Salt Lake City; a sister, Beverly and Joseph Morgan, Upland, Calif.; two brothers, John C. and Irene Dyet, Salt Lake City; Norris K. and Marianne Dyet, Shelley, Idaho; six grandchildren, Roger, Jr., Craig, Cheryl, Pamela, Chris, Kacee; 11 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents, sister, Joann, and granddaughter, Betty Lynn.

Funeral services Saturday, 11:00 a.m., Helper LDS Stake Center. Friends may call at Mitchell Chapel, Friday. Family will be at Mitchell's Friday evening, 7-9 p.m. and at the church Saturday, one hour prior to services. Graveside services Saturday, 3:00 p.m. in the Springville City, Utah Cemetery.
