Thomas Richard Collins, age 63, died June 23, 1991, in Murray, Utah.
Born December 30, 1927, to Thomas Milton Collins and Edna Bell Donaldson Collins in Export, Pennsylvania. Married Gertrude LaVon (Bonnie) Bradley on May 11, 1951. Member of the LDS Church. Recently retired from the Claude Gable Co. He was a Veteran of the Korean War, serving in the U.S. Army. Moved from Youngstown, Ohio to Salt Lake City in 1958. He loved his family and was always helping out when he could. He loved the mountains, fishing and sports. He was an avid Pittsburgh Pirates and Steeler fan.He was a devoted husband, dad and grandpa, and cherished friend, and will be greatly missed by all those who knew him. Survived by: Wife, daughter, Sherrie and husband, Jeff Hansen, son, Thomas and wife, Penny Collins, five grandchildren, Alethea, Christopher, Ryan, Crystle, and Candis, all of Salt Lake City; sister, Donna and her husband, Buster Posey, Poland, Ohio; brother, John Collins, Youngstown, Ohio.
Funeral services will be on Thursday, 2 p.m., at the Redwood Memorial Estates, 6500 So. Redwood Road, where friends may call on Wednesday, from 6 to 8 p.m., and also on Thursday, one hour prior to the services. Interment, Redwood Memorial
