DEATH: JULIA WARR

Julia Coon Johnson Stapley Warr, age 77, died Tuesday, June 25, 1991 at her home after a courageous fight with cancer.

She was born October 19, 1913, Magna, Utah, to Jacob and Martha Hancock Coon. She married Theodore Roosevelt Johnson, July 28, 1934. He preceded her in death. She married Elmer Eugene Stapley, March 15, 1955. He preceded her in death March 20, 1972. She married Marion E. Warr, November 9, 1975, in Salt Lake City. He preceded her in death November 30, 1989.Mrs. Warr was reared and educated in Magna and lived in Salt Lake City most of her life before moving to St. George in 1985. She owned and operated Gene's Cafe in Salt Lake City. She was active in the LDS Church, having served in Relief Society presidency and as a teacher in all the auxiliaries. She enjoyed dancing, crocheting, cooking and her family. She is best remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend.

Survivors include one son and one daughter, Kent W. Johnson, St. George; Mrs. Gary H. (Judy) Anderson, Salt Lake City; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three brothers, Marion W. Coon, Sandy; Gordon W. Coon, Tooele; John L. Coon, South Jordan; many stepchildren, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Friday, June 28, 1991 at 12 noon at the Wasatch Lawn Mortuary Chapel, 3401 South Highland Drive, SLC. Friends may call Wednesday, evening, 7-8 p.m., at the Metcalf Mortuary in St. George, and on Friday one hour prior to services at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary. Interment in the Wasatch Lawn Cemetery under the direction of the Metcalf Mortuary.
