Santana, 43, was arrested by police after U.S. Customs agents at Intercontinental Airport found 5 grams of the drug in a canister in his suitcase. He was returning to the United States from Mexico en route to Michigan. The musician posted $500 bond on the possession of a controlled substance charge Thursday night and was released from the city jail. He was not required to remain in Houston.
