Rock music guitarist Carlos Santana was arrested in Chicago on a misdemeanor drug charge following the discovery of marijuana in his luggage. Santana, 43, was arrested by police after U.S. Customs agents at Intercontinental Airport found 5 grams of the drug in a canister in his suitcase. He was returning to the United States from Mexico en route to Michigan. The musician posted $500 bond on the possession of a controlled substance charge Thursday night and was released from the city jail. He was not required to remain in Houston. Santana is best known for the song "Black Magic Woman" and for his performance at Woodstock in 1969.
