No major damage was found in the left shoulder of Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Darryl Strawberry and he could be playing again as early as next weekend.
Team physician Dr. Frank Jobe performed an MRI exam on Strawberry's shoulder Sunday night."Dr. Jobe said there's no major damage," said Jay Lucas, the Dodgers' director of publicity. "Darryl will probably miss five days just to give the shoulder some rest. He should appear in the Chicago series."
