DEATH: GLADYS E. SIRRINE

Gladys Ada Gent Evans Sirrine died June 1, 1991 of natural causes in Murray.

Born December 28, 1922 in Leiceister, England, daughter of George Ernest and Margaret Emma Wood Gent. Married George Alfred Harry Evans August 5, 1944 in Birmingham, England; marriage solemnized in the Alberta LDS Temple May 24, 1948. He died in 1956. Married Lamar Earl Sirrine May 13, 1962 in Ely, Nevada. Preceded in death by her parents, brothers and sisters, Grace, George, Dennis, Raymond, and Bernard.Survived by husband, Murray; children, Dorinda Monson and husband Sherman, West Jordan; David Evans and wife Darlene, Murray; Michael Evans and wife Patricia, Bountiful; Martin Evans and wife Jeanette, Bountiful; Barbara Guest, Salt Lake City; 26 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brother and sisters, Derek, Bountiful; Margaret Reeves, Brigham City; and Nora Morris, Salt Lake City.

She loved music, flowers, and people, and was always giving. She was a good listener, and her grandchildren where the benefactors. She will be missed by all those who loved her.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, 12 noon, in the Belview Ward, 6300 South 300 East. Friends may call Monday, 6-8 p.m., at the Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 South State, and Tuesday, at the church, one hour prior to the funeral. Interment, Murray City Cemetery.
