Glen Martin Woffinden, age 73, of Lehi, died June 5, 1991 at an American Fork care center following an illness of several years.
He was born July 28, 1917 in Lehi, Utah to Walter Woffinden, Jr. and Myrtle Lavon Gordon. Married Lexia Mary Gilbert, August 29, 1944 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She died May 10, 1974. He served in the Army during World War II. He was employed as a patrolman at the Recreation Dept. of the Provo River Water Users Association. He was a member of the LDS Church and a High Priest in the Lehi 10th Ward. He had been a Scoutmaster and had worked with handicapped scouts.Survived by three daughters, Glenda Jensen, Lehi; Mrs. Raymond (Margaret) Morris, and Mrs. John (Janice) Tyrrell, both of Salt Lake City; 13 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by two brothers, Thomas R. and Duane M. Woffinden.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 8, 1991 at 11 a.m. in the Wing Mortuary Chapel, Lehi, where friends may call Friday evening from 7-9 p.m. and Saturday, one hour prior to service. Interment will be in the Lehi City Cemetery.
