The Tabernacle Choir departs Saturday, June 8, for a 21-day tour that will include 12 concerts in 11 cities in eight countries.
Featured on the tour are 315 singers, who will be accompanied by staff, technicians and some spouses.Traveling with the singers will be choir president Wendell Smoot, choir director Jerold Ottley, associate director Donald Ripplinger and organists Robert Cundick, John Longhurst and Richard Elliott.

June 10 - Alte Opera, Frankfurt, Germany
June 11 - Palais des Congres, Strasbourg, France
June 13 - Hallenstadion, Zurich, Switzerland
June 15 - State Opera, Budapest, Hungary
June 17 - Musikverein, Vienna, Austria
June 18 - Smetana Hall, Prague, Czechoslovakia
June 19 - Kuturpalast, Dresden, Germany
June 20 - Schauspielhaus, Berlin, Germany (two performances)
June 22 - Opera House, Warsaw, Poland
June 24 - Bolshoi Theater, Moscow, USSR
June 27 - Philharmonic Hall, Leningrad, USSR
The concerts in the Soviet Union, Poland, Hungary, Czechoslovakia and Austria will be the first for the choir in those countries.
The choir will return to Salt Lake City June 29.
