Frank John "Doc" Lauriski, age 77, died June 7, 1991 in a Price hospital.
Born October 21, 1913 in Cannon City, Colorado, son of Frank and Mary Zupancic Lauriski. Married Florence McIntyre December 31, 1938 in Cannon City, Colorado. Member of the Catholic Church. Former employee U.S. Steel, Horse Canyon Mine, retired in 1976. Retired member UMWA. Owned and operated Doc's Coal Yard in East Carbon for many years. Member Price Elk's Lodge #1550. Member S.N.P.J., Cannon City. Loved the out of doors, and his autos. He was especially found of having family and friends spending time with him in his mountain retreat.Survived by his wife, East Carbon; one daughter, two sons and spouses, Judee and Marty Zackreson, East Carbon; Frank E., Price; Dave D. and Marlyn, Spring Glen; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two sisters and four brothers, Mary Javernick, Cannon City, Colo.; Freida Triano, Portland, Oregon; Ernest Lauriski, Logan; Anton Lauriski, East Carbon City; Milan Lauriski, Pueblo, Colo.; and Adolph Lauriksi, Cannon City, Colo. Preceded in death by parents and two brothers, Paul and Rudy Lauriski.
Funeral Mass Monday, 11 a.m., Good Shepherd Catholic Church, East Carbon City, where friends may call Monday, one hour prior to services. Additional services Wednesday, June 12th, Wilson-Almont Mortuary in Cannon City Colorado. Committal Service, Lake Side Cemetery, Cannon City Colorado.
