William Kennedy Smith's chief lawyer said Monday he may seek to move the trial because of publicity surrounding the rape case.

"Based on my analysis of the publicity, I don't think it's possible to pick a jury in this county - regardless of how much time we spend," attorney Roy Black told Circuit Judge Mary Lupo.Smith is accused of raping a 29-year-old woman March 30 at the Kennedy oceanfront estate in Palm Beach. The 30-year-old nephew of Sen. Edward M. Kennedy is scheduled to go on trial Aug. 5.
