Frank G. Whitney, 23, of Phoenix, died from injuries sustained in an automobile accident, August 8, 1991 near Salt Lake city.

He was born September 6, 1967 in Granger, Utah to Garth and Judy Duane Whitney.Frank, after graduation from high school joined the Navy, he was proud of his service record and the opportunity to serve his country. He was stationed on an air-craft carrier for almost four years before his discharge.

He is survived by his father, Garth and step-mother, Darlene Whitney, West Valley City, Utah; his mother, Judy Duane, Phoenix, Arizona; sisters, Jody Barbeito, Phoenix, Arizona; Dawn Vincent, Washington D.C., brothers, Stuart Whitney, Kansas; Jamey Vincent, Tucson, Arizona; John Yakovich; two grandmothers, Vilate Whitney, Springville, Utah; and Mildred Cragun, Orem, Utah.

Funeral services will be Monday, August 12, 1991, Wheeler Mortuary, 211 East 200 South, Springville, at 10 a.m. Friends may call 9-10 a.m. Monday. Burial will be in the Springville Evergreen Cemetery. Military Rites will be done by the VFW #4
