Cascade Fairways and Kids On The Move have joined forces to help raise money for Kids On The Move's new facility with a "Celebration of Kids" golf event on Thursday, Aug. 22.
Festivities will include 18 holes of golf and a barbecue steak dinner. The first set of nine holes will begin with a shotgun start at 4 p.m. and will be followed by a steak dinner and a second set of nine holes.Thousands of dollars have been raised for the event through corporate and private donors, as well as prizes that will be given away randomly to participants. Joe Cannon, Golden Kiwanis Club, Sertoma, Monson Insurance, Nu Skin, Signature Promotions and Dallin's Storehouse Market.

The new facility will be built on an acre just north of Orem Community Hospital, which was donated by Intermountain Health Care. Kids On The Move is dedicated to providing an environment that fosters the physical, social, emotional and cognitive growth of children ages birth to three who have special needs.
