The New York Mets traded reliever Alejandro Pena to the Atlanta Braves for pitcher Tony Castillo and a minor-league player to be named later. Pena, a 10-year veteran, was 6-1 with a 2.71 ERA and four saves this season for the Mets. Castillo was 1-1 with a 7.27 ERA in 8 2-3 innings with the Braves after being recalled from Richmond of the International League on Aug. 11.
