Bishop Robert D. Hales, 59, presiding bishop of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, has been moved out of the LDS Hospital coronary-intensive care unit, and his condition has been upgraded from serious to satisfactory.

The general authority was admitted to the unit late Friday, Aug. 23, and was moved to another area in the hospital Wednesday afternoon, said church spokesman Don LeFevre.
