Two attorneys have been re-elected to the top positions on the state Board of Regents.

Salt Lake attorney Douglas S. Foxley will serve again as regent chairman, while Steven E. Snow, a St. George attorney, will keep his position as vice chairman on the 16-member appointed board governing Utah's nine public colleges and universities. Both will serve two-year terms.Foxley has been on the board since 1985. He previously worked as a deputy lieutenant governor and special assistant attorney general. Snow has served on the Washington County School Board and on the Dixie College Institutional Council.

Appointed as chairmen of the regent subcommittees were: Clifford LeFevre, academic affairs and vocational education; Paul Rogers, capital facilities; Fred Stringham, budget and finance; and Dale Zabriskie, public affairs.
