Edward Martin Schomburg, 80, died August 28, 1991 in Salt Lake City.
Born November 27, 1910 in Chicago, Illinois to Edward C. and Emma Gundlach Schomburg. Married Florence Bannon in Salt Lake City in 1940; she preceded him in death on March 22, 1986. Recently, he retired after 50 years as a salesman with American Paper in Salt Lake City, which is now owned by The Unisource Corp. Edward was a very avid golfer, member Fort Douglas Hidden Valley Country Club; Member Ambassador Athletic Club. He was involved in athletic programs and fund raisers for St. Ambrose Church.Survived by sons, Tim, Garden Grove, Calif.; Terry, Huntington Beach, Calif.; grandchildren, Greta and Bohart both Salt Lake City; Rory, Huntington Beach, Calif.; loving companion, Reba Richards; and devoted friends, Marty and ReNae Madill.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to St. Joseph Villa, 475 Ramona Ave., SLC, Ut. 84115.
Funeral service will be held Saturday, August 31, 1991, 1 p.m., at the Neil O'Donnell & Sons Mortuary, 372 East 100 South, where friends may call Saturday, 12 noon until time of services.
Burial, Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
