Kay Broadbent Stubbs, 54, of Rexburg, died August 28, 1991, at a Provo hospital.

She was born October 29, 1936, Price, to Lynn and Wanda Crandall Broadbent. Graduate of Carbon High School and Carbon College. Was a speech and drama major at BYU, graduating 1958 with honors. She married Glen R. Stubbs, June 5, 1957, Manti LDS Temple. Member LDS Church, serving in four Relief Society presidencies and was president of the Rexburg 15th Ward Relief Society until her recent illness. She also served as the Ricks College Second Stake Music Chairman. She played the piano and organ, and sang solos and duets.For 17 years she and her husband directed tours throughout the United States, and in 18 foreign countries. She served as Vice President of Beacon Tours, since its organization in 1978. For the past 14 years she directed the missionary musical drama "Saga Of Joe", performed at Ricks College. The drama was written by herself and her husband.

Survivors include her husband, Dr. Glen R. Stubbs, Rexburg; two daughters, Diane Stubbs, Salt Lake City; Julie Ann Stubbs, Provo; son, David Glen Stubbs, Rexburg; her parents, Lynn and Wanda Broadbent, Cedar City; two sisters, Linda Gibbs, Huntington Beach, California; Peggy Terry, West Valley City; two brothers, Lee Broadbent, Coalville; Alan Broadbent, Ogden; one grandchild.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 3, 1 p.m., Rexburg 15th Ward Chapel. Family will receive friends Monday, 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Flamm Funeral Home in Rexburg and Tuesday, at the church, 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Interment will be Wednesday, 1 p.m., September 4, at the Provo City Cemetery.
