The Utah Office of Job Training for Economic Development has made grants to three state colleges and one applied technology center to establish high-technology training programs.

Ogden/Weber Applied Technology Center received $59,080, Snow College $94,875, Utah Valley Community College $90,127 and Dixie College $9,000. Each institution has a planned course of training that will be supported by grant funds.Dixie earlier received a $50,000 grant from the Utah Centers of Excellence program to establish a center for three-dimensional computer graphics.
