Two Wyoming residents and a Washington state man died Thursday night after a car traveling the wrong way on I-84 collided head-on with another in Morgan County.

The Utah Highway Patrol said Keith F. Schwartz, 58, Richland, Wash., was driving the car that was headed east in the westbound lanes. Schwartz was pronounced dead at McKay-Dee Hospital in Ogden shortly after the accident.The driver of the second car, Robert J. Nichols, 19, Lyman, Wyo., was pronounced dead at the University Hospital in Salt Lake City, where he was taken by helicopter.

A passenger in Nichols' car, Kerri Nichols, no age available, also of Lyman, was pronounced dead at St. Benedict's Hospital in Ogden, a spokesman said.
