Our beloved father, grandfather, brother and friend, David Norman Stensrud, age 70, passed away August 2, 1991, at his home in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Born June 26, 1921, Salt Lake City, the son of David and Signy Georgina Jensen Stensrud. Married Kathryn Alice Park, October 24, 1945, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She preceded him in death, December 5, 1989. Veteran of World War II.A High Priest in the LDS Church, he served an 18-month mission in the locaters office with his beloved wife, Kathryn, as counselor in the Cannon 3rd Ward Sunday School Presidency and was a faithful Home Teacher.

Survived by three daughters and one son: Cherilyn Stensrud; Diane Gardner; Laurie Howick and husband, Scott; and David Stensrud and wife, Sheila; 10 grandchildren; four brothers: Raymond B. Stensrud, Kenneth L. Stensrud, Grant S. Stensrud, all Salt Lake City; Clarence L. Stensrud, of Canyon Country, California; and one sister, Beverly S. Melaerts, of Las Vegas, Nevada.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 6th, 11:00 a.m., in the Cannon 3rd Ward, 1301 South 1200 West. Friends may call at the Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple, Monday from 6-8 p.m., and at the ward Tuesday, from 10-10:45 a.m. Interment, Elysian Burial Gardens.
