Henry Alexander Nisonger,age 73, died August 2, 1991 in Salt Lake City after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born September 21,1917 in Mammoth, Juab County, Utah to William Henry and RoseBoyter Nisonger.Early education in Tintic mining district, later in Salt Lake City. Graduated from South High School. He was a Sergeant in the U.S. Army, serving in Italy during WW II. He married Mildred Lee Moore on July 16, 1951. Employed many years with D & RG Railroad. Skilled craftsman at wood carving.
Survived by his wife, two daughters, Mrs. Dean Jones (Beverly), Mrs. Paul Vance (Linda), five grandsons, Robert, Daniel, Jesse, Michael and Kevin, two sisters, Mrs. John Cowley (Phyllis), Mrs. Sam Duncan (Frances), brother, William C. Nisonger. Preceded in death by a grandson, Dustin Blaine Jones.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, 11:00 a.m., August 6,1991 at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary Chapel, 3401 So. Highland Drive, where friends may call on Monday evening from 6-8 p.m. and on Tuesday one half hour prior to services.
Interment Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
