Disneyland, in Anaheim, Calif., is offering free admission for children this summer when their parents buy a hotel package through the Walt Disney Travel Co. A child aged 3 to 10 gets two days' admission for each paying adult who purchases a hotel package of two to five days.

The child's admission comes with a breakfast voucher, a pass that allows entrance to the park an hour before opening for a breakfast served in the company of one of the Disney characters. The packages, available through Sept. 3, offer accommodations at more than 30 hotels in the greater Anaheim area, admission to the amusement park and bus transportation and car rental.Prices start at $140 a person, double occupancy, for a package that includes two nights' lodging, two days' admission to the park and shuttle transporation between hotel and park. One child per adult stays free in the same room.

The packages can be reserved at seven classes of hotels, ranging from the frilly Disneyland Hotel to the more spartan Best Western Apollo. For more information: (714) 520-5099.
