A column of 109 Marine reservists marched into Red Butte Gardens Tuesday where they were welcomed home after spending the past eight months overseas in support of Operation Desert Storm. Company F, 2nd Battalion, 23rd Marines, deployed to Okinawa in December from its home station in Salt Lake City. Parts of the group spent time performing humanitarian relief efforts in Bangladesh, India and the Philippines. The company is the last large group from Utah to return home from Desert Storm duty.
